The treatment begins with a gel being applied to the skin. The applicator is then used to apply pressure in circular or sweeping movements. Once the temperature of the skin has reached 40-42 degrees, the dynamic muscle activation is trigged. The treatment takes half an hour. After the treatment there is little to no downtime. There can be some redness immediately after as the muscles have been activated during treatment, they can sometimes feel sore and tender afterwards but this usually disappears within 48 hours. There can also be some superficial bruising.
